Recognize computer needs:

Perform simple mechanical: turn power on\off, inserting and removing disk, Identify misuse and abuse of computer and equipment, perform basic computer functions (mouse, scroll, minimize, maximize,)

Ability to use the mouse or similar pointing device

KEYBOARDING SKILLS

Manipulate keyboard: Control, Delete, Insert, Home Keys, Recognize Home Row, Develop and refine Touch Keyboarding skills.

CURRICULAR ENHANCED PROGRAM

Successfully utilize programs to reinforce, remediate , assess or enrich student skills.

OPERATE COMPUTER

Run stored program from Desktop, run stored program from Start, Program Menu

Proper care of software and hardware

KEYBOARDING SKILLS

Saved Work: Save to Network Drive, Save to Diskette, Retrieve Saved Work

Develop and refine Touch Keyboarding skills.

Identify three main parts of computer, List three main parts and examples, Define basic computer terms in Glossary of terms.
